Staande op het vliegveld in de boekenwinkel viel mijn oog op een lichtroze boek, met zwarte letters. En aangezien deze twee kleuren mij zeer aanspreken, lag het boek al snel in mijn handen. ‘Babe, you got this’ stond op de kaft. Ik voelde me meteen aangesproken, want de tekst vond ik pakkend. The last couple of weeks I have been working at a new store of the WAAR franchise located in Tilburg, the Netherlands. With the holidays around the corner I was searching for some original and fitting presents for my family. But where do I start the search for the perfect gift? Last May I was strolling around in Amsterdam and asked someone at a local store where I could have a nice cup of coffee in the neighbourhood. I’m sure some of you can relate to the difficulty of choosing where you should have coffee, since there is such a great amount of cafes and bars in Amsterdam. The woman in the shop suggested me to visit a cafe called ‘Kopjes’. This is the Dutch word for a cat rubbing their head on you.
